Thinking About Christmas…….New “Candy Cane Stripes” Afghan Pattern!!

As summer days get shorter and cooler and we start planning projects and activities for fall (and I do love fall!!), thoughts of Christmas are creeping into my mind. There are so many projects I want to craft for fall but I also want to start on Christmas crafts and gifts! Oh, what to do?!?!!
Well, I decided that I wanted to design an easy, but festive, Christmas Afghan/Throw. So, I came up with my new “Candy Cane Stripes” Afghan Pattern. And I really like it. Easy and quick to make using the C2C crochet method, and the final product is so pretty!
I made mine using Caron “Simply Soft” Yarn in Autumn Red and White And I used an “H” crochet hook.
So, I already have one Christmas gift done and ready to do more as I also work on fall crafts. Such fun! I love this time of year!

If you would like to start working on some Christmas projects, I think this might be a good one to start on! And, for today and tomorrow only I am offering the pattern for 50% off on Ravelry. To get your copy, just click on the buttons here on the post to go to the listing in my Ravelry Store and use the Coupon Code “candycane” and you can get your copy for 50% off. After tomorrow the pattern will be full price for $5.50. Oh, and while I’m at it, I think I’ll offer my “Christmas Stripes” Afghan Pattern for 50% off, too….for today and tomorrow only. It also is a C2C pattern and is the same size as the “Candy Cane Stripes” Afghan Pattern! You will probably want to make both!!! So, head over to check that pattern out, too. For the 50% off, you can also use the same Coupon Code “candycane”.
I think these afghans will be wonderful additions to your Christmas decor and you can make lots of “Candy Cane Stripes” and “Christmas Stripes” Afghans for Christmas gift-giving! I can just picture a gift basket of an afghan, a supply of candy canes, hot chocolate mix, a fun ceramic mug, marshmallows, and a Christmas DVD. What a wonderful present!
Well, time to design more fun patterns for fall and Christmas, so keep checking for lots of great ideas!!
Best Wishes and Stay Cozy!!
