The Summer of “Bucket Hats”!!!! Yay!!!
Patterns - Hats - Baby . Patterns - Hats - Children . Patterns-Hats . Ready Made Hats
Are you loving bucket hats! I know I am! They are so cute for kids and adults alike. I love seeing little toddlers at the playgound or the beach in their adorable sunsuites or swimsuits all topped off with a coordinating bucket hat! Adorable!!!!!
Well, if you do have a little one who you would like to make a bucket hat for (or would like to purchase a ready-made one), I have some ideas for you!!
If you are interested in checking out ready-made bucket hats, be sure to take a look at my Etsy Shop! I have a variety of hat colors and sizes avalable there and, for the month of August 2022, they are all on half price!!!
But, if you like to make your own creations, I have the perfect thing. Here on this post is the “Summer Bucket Hat” pattern. It is for Sizes 0 – 3 months, 3 – 6 months and 6 – 12 months. The pattern for the 6 – petal flower is also included. I encourage you to be creative – try different color combinations, various flower color combinations for the center and petals or add more than one flower. Also, if you would like to add leaves to your hat, please check out this video tutorial, “One Green Leaf” on my YouTube Channel.
I made my bucket hats with 100% cotton yarn, but you could make yours with acrylic yarn or a cotton blend, too.
So, here is the pattern! I ho9pe you make a few of these for someone you love. These are also great to make and give for baby shower gifts, birthday presents and they sell really well at craft fairs. I’d love to see you projecs. So, on Instagram, just tag me or use the hashtag #lakeviewcottagekidsbuckethats.
