The “Baby Bobbles Baby Blanket is Part of the Springtime Crochet Blog Hop!!!

I just love designing baby blankets!  I just love making them!!  I have probably made hundreds of them for gifts and for customers who have ordered them in my Etsy Shop.  I love to use soft, snuggly yarns and lovely textured stitches.  And, when you put the two together, the end result is something that is so wonderful to wrap your little one in.  

I designed the “Baby Bobbles Baby Blanket” for a shower gift.  I wanted a pattern that would be easy and quick to make and would also be textured, soft and snuggly for those precious ones.  I also wanted to design a simple color change design that would be easy to do for the beginner crocheter yet would be interesting.  The result of all of that is the “Baby Bobbles Baby Blanket”.  Since designing this blanket, I’ve made quite a few of them and have even made larger versions for older children and to be used as lap afghans for my elderly friends.  The pattern is really so versatile.  It has really become a “go to” pattern for me!!
