“Half Double Crochet” Winter Set – Free Beanie Pattern
How To's . Patterns - Hats - Adult Women . Patterns-Hats
Hi Everyone! I’m writing today from a very, very cold Central Wisconsin!! The last few nights we have reached -15 degrees and we barely get above zero each day. That is a little crazy, if you ask me, and it is supposed to continue for another week!! Ugh……. Well, it is the kind of weather that requires snuggly, warm coats and accessories. So, as I mentioned in my last post, I have designed an extremely easy (perfect for beginners) and pretty winter set comprised of a beanie, twisted cowl, headwarmer, and wristwarmers! In this post I am including the free pattern for the beanie. And, I will make a separate post for each of the other pieces. Note: The 1 skein of yarn makes all four pieces!!! The yarn used is called “Puzzle” and the color is “Dominoes”. I love the varigated aquas and I bet you will love them, too. And, all four pieces are made virtually entirely using the half double crochet stitch!!
(I just wanted to let you know that this post contains “affiliate links”. That means that if you click through and make a purchase from any of those links, I will get a small percentage of the sale at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for your continued support! You can check my Disclosure page for more information.)
If you would like to learn or review the Half Double Crochet Stitch, please check out my video tutorial for this stitch here!
So, here is the pattern for the Beanie.
