– 2 Black Buttons (1 for each eye)
***NOTE!!! I tend to crochet loosely. If you find that you crochet tighter, you may want to switch to a larger hook to get the correct size!

I love this! So going to make this for one lucky little girl. Thanks for the great pattern 🙂
You need a Pinterest button so I can pin this to my crochet boards! 🙂
Thank you for the pattern! This hat is the cutest turkey hat out there! Can't wait to see it on my grandson! Happy Holidays!

Very easy pattern. Thank you very much for the pattern
I made this for my baby grandson. Your pattern was very easy to follow and worked up quickly. Thank you for sharing it.
Approximately, how much yarn would be needed for an adult sized hat? I know this is a pretty old post, but I thought I would try 🙂
Thank you for sharing your pattern! I am trying to make the 3-10 year old size for my 8 year old sister, but it looks quite shallow. Do you have any pictures of how well they fit on a child's head?
Hi! 16 rows work pretty well for the 3 – 6 year olds, but if you are making it for an older child I would increase the rows to 18. In fact, I will write that into the pattern now. Please let me know how your hat turns out! Send a picture if you can! Greetings, Chris
Made the 'base' part of this hat last night for my 15 month old (size 12m-3y). Unfortunately it was WAY too small. I tend to crochet on the tighter size, but thought I'd be okay since the size range was up to 3 years. Will be restarting tonight with a larger hook and adding some more rows to the length and hopefully can get it to fit onto his head! I like to line mine with fleece too (we live in northern MN) so it needs to fit somewhat loosely! Cute pattern, will just need to modify it a bit to fit right. Thanks!
It's making a wonky seam. But frogging it all day! Over and over. Hate that seam. Any suggestions?
Thank you very much for sharing such an adorable pattern. I had an absolute blast working this up and made hats for a friends kids. This pattern just made a lot of people Smile. Thank you.
I’ve made a few of these hats and yours is the easiest to follow—thank you for sharing!
We have a Turkey Trot in Buffalo NY each year and these are perfect because it is the start of cold weather and the little feathers bounce along as we walk/run the race!
I’m glad that you liked the pattern! I would love to see photos of your creations!!
