Size:
0 – 3 months
Materials Needed:
– 1 skein Aran weight (#4) yarn (Silver Blue)(I used “Vanna’s Choice” for this hat.)
– Crochet Hook, Size G/4.00 mm
– Yarn Needle (Used for working in loose yarn ends.)
Gauge: 12 dc sts = 4 inches
(I crochet pretty loosely. If you crochet tighter, you may want to
adjust to smaller hooks to get your desired size.)
Hat Pattern
Size: 0 – 3 months
Round 1: Using the “Magic Circle”, Ch 1. Work 12 dc in the circle. Join with slip stitch to top of first dc. (12 dc)
Round 2: Ch 2. Work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join to first dc with slip stitch. (24 dc)
Round 3: Ch 2. *Work 1 dc in first stitch. Work 2 dc in next stitch.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first dc with slip stitch. (36 dc)
Round 4: Ch 2. *Work 1 dc in next 8 stitches. Work 2 dc in next stitch.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first dc with slip stitch. (40 dc)
Round 5: Ch 2. *Skip 1 stitch. Work 2dc in next stitch. * Join to first dc with slip stitch. (40 dc)
Round 6: Ch 2. *Work 2 dc in first stitch. Skip 1 stitch. * Join to first dc with slip stitch. (40 dc)
Round 7: Repeat Round 5.
Round 8: Repeat Round 6.
Round 9 – 11: Ch 1. Work 1 sc in each stitch around. Join to first sc with slip stitch. (40 sc)
Fasten off yarn and weave in loose ends.
